The goal of the music ministry is to help congregants worship the Lord as best they can. “The mass is our utmost response to His utmost love.” The music ministry serves the congregation with leadership, an example of reverence, and creating beautiful music that serves the joy, gravity and sanctity of the Holy Mass.
Schedule of music ministry:

Description of Choirs:
The Children’s Choir meets on Tuesday nights from 6-6:45pm for rehearsal, and sings on the first or second Sunday of the month at 8:30am mass. All children are welcome to join on Sunday mornings!
The Student Choir sings two Sundays a month at the 10:30am mass. Rehearsal is 9:45-10:15 before the 10:30 mass at which they sing, and following the mass from 11:45-12:30. There is some scholarship available to high school and college students who qualify, and who can commit to each Sunday the choir sings, as well as Christmas and Holy Week. Choristers need not be traditional students, nor members of the parish to join, but musical preparation outside of rehearsal is expected and most of the choristers have some experience reading music. The goal of the Student Choir is to inspire people of all ages and walks of life to grow closer to God through the vast tradition of sacred music.
Student choir schedule:
Feb. 5th rehearsal 11:45-2:30
April 9 (Palm Sunday)
April 14 (Good Friday service)
April 16 (Easter Sunday)
The Principal Choir sings at the 10:30am mass, sharing every other Sunday with the Student Choir. Rehearsal is Thursday evenings from 7:30-9pm, and before the 10:30am mass from 9:50-10:15. Members of the Principal Choir are encouraged to sing on Student Choir Sundays, to help support the congregation!
The Contemporary Ensemble plays for the 6pm mass every Sunday (reflecting the academic calendar). Rehearsal is before the 6pm mass.
