Almighty and eternal God, in your unfailing love you provide ministers for your Church. We pray for Father Sebastian Munoz Chavarria whom you have called to serve your Church as a priest. You have inspired in him a generous response. Grant that he may serve your people in holiness, chastity and purity—a priest after the heart of the Good Shepherd.
As priest, may he lay down his life for the Gospel in imitation of the One who came not to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many. This and every prayer we utter in faith in the name of Jesus Christ the great High Priest who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever Amen.
